I don’t even know where to begin. This year
has just been nonstop.
Okay, lets start from June and work from
there. June was an interesting month. My eldest sister was diagnosed with an abdominal
tumor that was consuming the majority of her abdominal cavity – weighing in at
just over 5.6kgs. Long stressful story short, she had extremely invasive
surgery to get it removed and is still slowly recovering.
Because of this, and also my father selling
his house (where Maddy was living), I became the default kitty mama for her baby,
Tobias! So I’ve had a cuddle buddy for the past two months.
My beautiful baby sister just continues to
become even more breathtaking. She’s so vocal now, and is sitting up all by
herself, plus her second tooth just broke through. Oh Miss P, stop being so
perfect.
I also managed to go down to Melbourne
twice - right after Maddy’s surgery and then again at the end of July. Seriously
considering moving to Melbourne after I graduate. It is just so beautiful down
there. The coffee is delicious, the food divine, the people friendly, and don’t
even get me started on the fashion!
Would like to add, there was reason for my
second trip. If you know me, you know I’m shamelessly in love with a woman
named Jemma Rix. I got wind that she was doing her first ever cabaret show a
day before I was scheduled to fly down, need I say more? I also dare say her
show was better than the original reason I went down (to see King Kong).
Unabashedly bias.
Now for the super exciting news – next
month I move to England (in particular, Bath)! I have plans to document the
entire thing, so watch this space.
